Résumé : In a post-crisis context marked by deep socio-political fragilities and the urgent need to rebuild the social fabric, the Toulepleu Department in Côte d’Ivoire faces major challenges related to community divisions, interethnic mistrust, and weak civic participation. This problematic situation raises questions about the capacity of local actors to promote social cohesion and participatory democracy through accessible communication tools. The core issue of this study therefore lies in understanding the role played by the community radios Abéwéhi and Paix et Réconciliation in social reconstruction and local transformation. The main objective is to analyze how these local media, through programs focused on community dialogue, reconciliation, and civic education, contribute to the pacification of the public sphere, the strengthening of democratic resilience, and the promotion of sustainable peace. From a methodological perspective, the research adopts a mixed approach, combining audience surveys, thematic content analysis, and semi-structured interviews with local actors (radio hosts, authorities, listeners, and community leaders). The findings reveal that these radios serve as true catalysts for local initiatives, fostering citizen participation, conflict mediation, and networking among development stakeholders. They thus emerge as strategic levers for social transformation and the consolidation of peace in the Toulepleu Department. Keyworks: Toulepleu, local radio, reconciliation, development, community
